A hole in our community that will be difficult to fill
To The Menzo Case Family and The Generations Bank Family:
On behalf of the Town Board of Seneca Falls and the people of Seneca Falls, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and sincere regrets on the passing of our beloved Menzo.
I had the opportunity and pleasure to work with Menzo on many projects over the past four years as we were working on the enhancement of Seneca Falls’ culture and rich and storied history. Our biggest collaboration was the creation of “Bailey Park”, Menzo’s vision and dream to create more housing opportunities for the people of Seneca Falls. If I have the opportunity, I will work feverishly to ensure that Menzo’s dream will come true.
Seneca Falls is Bedford Falls and Menzo Case was the real George Bailey! This man did things to help people that has always remained anonymous. He transformed Generations Bank just like in the movie when George transformed Potter’s Bank into the Bailey Lending Co. He worked tirelessly for Habitat for Humanity as he was instrumental in transforming depleted properties into modern homes.
His passing has left a hole in our community that will be very difficult to fill.
May he rest in peace with his maker.
My Sincere Regrets,
Michael J. Ferrara
Town of Seneca Falls Supervisor
